When one refers an attorney to one’s friends, there is without doubt some (a) responsibility, if the friends are less than pleased, and (b) fulfillment, if all goes as expected. In each of the several instances I referred Bea, my attorney, on three separate real estate transactions to my friends, I felt neither responsibility nor fulfillment. I felt pride – for, in each case Bea surpassed their expectations. Choosing the right attorney is no longer on my checklist.
