Richard Andersen is a founding partner of the firm. His practice concentrates on tax and corporate law, with emphasis on international tax matters for foreign enterprises and individuals investing and doing business in the United States.

Richard advises on the establishment, acquisition, and disposition of U.S. assets and businesses by international investors and companies; foreign investment in the United States; wealth and investment planning for overseas individuals and families; cross-border licensing transactions; transfer pricing; and the impact of U.S. tax treaties on foreign taxpayers.

Through an affiliated company, Richard’s transactional practice includes various aspects of entity management, such as company formations, corporate secretary functions, minute book maintenance, and periodic governmental filings. He has written or co-authored numerous articles on international tax matters and treatises covering foreign investment in U.S. real estate and the U.S. income tax treaty network, and has also served as an adjunct professor of taxation at Brooklyn Law School and New York University School of Law.
