Bea advises and represents international clients in the sale and purchase of residential properties for both personal and investment use. She reviews regulatory documents, financial statements, and monthly board minutes in condominium and cooperative apartment purchases; prepares, reviews, and negotiates real estate contracts; coordinates with lenders on behalf of clients wishing to finance a purchase; and acts on behalf of clients by power of attorney when necessary to facilitate the execution of documents at closing. She is often appointed as an officer or manager in real estate transactions involving corporate entities.
Through an affiliated company, Bea’s transactional practice extends to property management services such as maintaining accounts for the payment of necessary expenses, collection of rent for investment properties, review of lease agreements and other associated documents, and attention to numerous other matters pertaining to property ownership on a case-by-case basis.
Bea is a member of the New York Bar Association and has co-authored numerous articles on environmental law and its impact on real estate transactions. She received an honorary Designation as an Empire State Counsel for outstanding contribution in providing legal services to the poor. She has also been recognized for her leadership role in the Holocaust Survivors Justice Network, providing counsel to Holocaust survivors seeking reparations from Germany.
